The calibrated coin sets are also subject to a strict control and undergo extensive test programmes in order to guarantee perfect calibration. All of this knowledge is used to aid in the repair or retrofitting of coin mechanisms. In general, each mechanism to be repaired is reprogrammed and the program status is updated.
